Sangeetha and Rohith
This couple emulates natural chemistry just like slitting butter with a hot knife. Memories make the best gift that lasts beyond one’s breath, Sangeetha’s friends honored us to do the glimpse of their journey.
Sangeetha is a Tamilian and Rohith is from Kerala. She was all starry-eyed and playful while Rohith couldn’t resist her alarming giggles on snooze. They first met on a date where he waved to pull her focus on him. Little did he know about her approaching birthday, a memorable present made it super special for her and before they even realized, they swooned.
It was well scrutinized Tamil style engagement which happened at Sangeetha’s place with a bunch of their FR-AMILY who also helped their parents with the cozy set-up for their main event. Rightly reflecting their culture, her parents received everyone with open arms. Sangeetha on the pitch with Rohith on strike has to be a clean bold. If this isn’t the highlight of this gallery, then what is? Rohith in his veshti-sattai (clothing for Hindu-men to drape around the waist) and his family walking in with seer-varisai (a gesture of showing love to the bride-to-be, the families exchange gifts like clothing, jewelry, treats and savories etc.) was sending across all the right vibes. Sangeetha in her Pattu saree was no less than a blooming bird. Soon after the thamboolam (engagement plate with fruits, betel leaves, Kumkum and other essentials according to the customs are exchanged by the parents as a mark of mutual agreement for marriage) got exchanged, Pandit read out the Lagna Patrika and they exchanged rings.
Their little dance every now and then was to adore. This would be incomplete without their adorable speeches during the cake-cutting sesh at their backyard which added yet another happy memory to the place they lived in. Sangeetha’s parents were overwhelmed by the extended support of their friends and families, a group of little crazy, little loud. However, Rohith’s mom’s cheeky sense of humor leaves us wanting to get back for more.
