Mia and Tejas

This Intimate Punjabi wedding is an ode to love, where Mia and Tejas went an extra mile to expand themselves as individuals and deepen their love as couples. The entire planning kept happening in a blink, unobtrusive and efficiently wrapped in 6 hours having their mains around. This free-spirited tale started with quick getting ready shots of Mia and bolted to the venue amidst the peak hours of the bay area. The electric-pink glorious wedding attire enhanced Mia’s effortless beauty.

Coming to the customs of the wedding, Mia’s family performed Aagwani and Milni where they welcomed the Baaratis (wedding guests from the groom’s family) and then Mia and Tejas exchanged their Varmalas (Garlands) signifying the commencement of wedding, Tejas performed Madhuperka as a mark of the Vedic tradition (sipping and sprinkling a concoction of turmeric, butter, curd, honey around) followed by Kanyadanam. Then Mia and Tejas went around for Mangal-phere (seven times around the sacred fire which strengthens their exchanging vow for each round)  After the priest declared them married, Tejas smeared sindoor on Mia followed by Vidaai (an emotional send-off ritual where the bride bids adieu to the family with gratitude)  that dwelled everyone at the moment, the couple was awe-struck trying to pinch through their moments, twirling, hugging and kissing each other which gave us reminiscing portraits for our gallery.

The families rushed to get ready for the reception which had extreme hints of extravaganza. DJ Elaz’s finest playlist cut a groove for Mia and Tejas kinetic entry, badass moment was when she kissed Tejas on their amigos request in front of their entire intimate bunch leaves our hearts flushing and faces grinning, promise you’ll drool over as you scroll.
